The services we offer at the St Peter's unit include: Sexual Health testing - chlamydia, gonnorhoea, HIV, Syphilis, hepatitis abc Emergency contraception Health advising service offering on everything relate to sexual health Variety of Clinics ... with appointments and non appointments at several locations Quick Check Clinics These booked appointment clinics are designed for people who have no symptoms but would like routine screening. It is run as an appointment system on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. You will have full screening for STIs; this involves having a blood test and urine sample for men, or a blood test and self taken swab for women. You will not be examined. Before booking for this clinic please refer to the questionnaire. Booked appointments We run a variety of booked appointment clinics at St Peter's Hospital, including specialised clinics for mens health, Vulvodynia ( womens Vulval clinic) nurse treatment clinics, young persons, as well as our many symptomatic genitourinary clinics. Walk in and wait clinics These are run primarily for those people who have symptoms. We run four of these clinics each week at St Peter's Hospital on: Tuesday morning, Wednesday morning, Thursday afternoon, Friday morning The clinics on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday are for symptomatic patients only. The Thursday walk in and wait clinic is for those who do have symptoms and for those who do not have any symptoms. Please note that we would prefer that you book into a clinic rather than attend a walk in, this will mean that you are not waiting for a long time as our walk in and wait clinics can be very busy. Ashford Hospital We are now able to offer a Sexual Health clinic once a fortnight on a Tuesday morning (every other week) 9.30 -12 in the Jasmine Suite at Ashford Hospital. Appointments only are available for this clinic and they can be booked through the Blanche Heriot number (01932 722669) at St Peters. If you would like your appointment at Ashford please ask the reception staff. Community Services For sexual health services for young people in the local area, you can visit the Young Persons clinics and Surrey Health webpage. New Private Sexual Health Screening Service If you would like to be seen privately, there is now a private clinic available for all sexual health screening and treatment, including instant HIV tests (results in 5 min or less) which will run at the Blanche Heriot Unit, on the St Peter’s site, on a Saturday morning or at other times (including evenings) by request. You will see a Consultant in Genitourinary Medicine and your results will routinely be available by the end of the following Monday. You can only attend this clinic by prior appointment.
